A tenement somewhere in Denmark, far away from society’s political and cultural center, where the subclass lives. The housing association is affected by severe water damage.
This water damage has revealed that the janitor has given shelter to homeless refugee children in the basement of the tenement.. Now the janitor and the refugee children have been taken away by the police. The nervous residents is left behind with the water damage. What will happen next? Will the public press get involved? The residents will definitely be misunderstood and accused of all sorts of things.
The water and the residents’ insecurity is flooding the hallways and the residents are forced to face their selfishness and selflessness – to question identity, mercifulness, love and refugees.
